Description: The Borough of Haddonfield's First Friday Event is primarily a self-guided tour of Haddonfield's business district which includes various venues; art galleries, studios, stores, shops, restaurants and Haddonfield's Markeim Arts Center. The event is designed to highlight these businesses as well as the local and regional artists they host.

Location: The festivities take place along Kings Highway and the various side streets of the business district as well as a focus on the Markeim's location a few blocks away. Artists will be placed at assigned outdoor locations (curb-side) along the designated route. Streets will not be closed to vehicular traffic.

Dates: Held on the First Friday of each month from 5pm to 9pm. The specific dates for 2010 are; April 2, May 7, June 4, July 2, August 6, September 3 and October 1.

Info: Artists are invited to participate by presenting their original art work for sale to the public. Artist participation in the 2010 First Friday Event (s) is free throughout the year 2010. Pre-registration and acceptance of art work is mandatory. The Information Center will issue to the Artist a Vendor/Artist Permit to display for each event for which they have been accepted. The Permit is available for pick up by 4:00 pm on the afternoon of the event.

The organizers of First Friday Haddonfield recommend that your art work be presented within a space /area that spans the general size of a standard card table and not to exceed a standard five (5)foot folding table. Kindly bring a long, outdoor extension cord so that your host retailer can provide you with electricity.
